Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum (JPPM) is abundant with treasures. Come to hike the miles of trails, explore the Visitor Center with its interactive exhibits, take a tour of the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory (MAC Lab), or enjoy one of our many educational programs or events. There is something for everyone!

Park Grounds and Trails

Hours:  Park and grounds are open all year from 7:30 am until dusk, except for New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Free park admission. 
Visitor Center
Hours:  The Visitor Center is open Wednesday through Sunday from  10:00 am until 5:00 pm from March 1st through November 15th. From November 15th through March 1st, the center will be closed on weekends. We are also closed on State holidays, Thanksgiving week and Christmas week. 

 

Exhibit Barn Hours

Hours:  Tours of the Exhibit Barn can be requested at the Visitor Center or by calling to schedule a tour.

Administration Office Hours 

Hours: The administration offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.  See staff directory for department contact information.

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources. Information reported to the hotline in the past has helped to eliminate certain fraudulent activities and protect State resources.
