Are you a teacher looking to revitalize your classroom activities? Then you may be interested in renting one of our Traveling Trunks. Our trunks cover two topics: Eastern Woodland Indian Cultures of Maryland and the lives of Marylanders during the War of 1812. Each trunk includes lesson plans (Traveling Trunks Lesson Plans webpage, see below) written to Maryland State Curriculum standards, hands-on activities, and a selection of artifact reproductions to supplement the activities.

If you are interested in scheduling an outreach program or renting a Traveling Trunk, please contact the Education Coordinator, Elizabeth Brant, at [email protected] or 410-586-8502.
